ZBX type peripheral drive mud suction machine is generally used in the amplitude flow sedimentation tank of large-scale (generally referring to the flow rate greater than 500m ³/h) sewage treatment project. It is especially suitable for scraping and discharging sludge at the bottom of the secondary sedimentation tank. The pool shape generally adopts central water inlet, peripheral water outlet and central mud discharge, and the bottom of the pool may not have slope (flat bottom structure). The second sedimentation tank is widely used. Surface scum, froth and other sundries can be scraped and discharged to the slag pit or slag hopper outside the pool by the scum scraping device.

Static pressure mud discharge depends on each pipe orifice valve to adjust the flow to the central mud cylinder for direct discharge. Siphon sludge discharge mainly uses vacuum pump to carry out secondary siphon lifting sludge discharge.

Where the torque varies widely, the shaft-mounted reducer with torque protection device can be used.
